Sean Price earned All-Region honors by ranking as the fourth-best javelin thrower in the region. He showcased his skills by winning the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) championship in the javelin event and also secured an eighth-place finish in the hammer event at the conference championships. His performance not only highlights his capabilities but also his continued growth as a competitor on the regional stage.
In addition, Shamar Brown stood out as the top sprint performer for the Newberry Wolves. He finished third in the 400-meter hurdles and played a pivotal role in the 4 x 100-meter and 4 x 400-meter relay teams, which placed second and third respectively at the SAC Championships. Brown recorded a personal best time of 52.26 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles, earning him second place in the region.
