In soccer, Montpelier just edged out U-32 with a tense 1-0 victory thanks to Lia Walsh’s goal at 12:42 of the fourth quarter. Regan Walke also contributed with an assist. Montpelier’s goalie, Indy Roberts, made 4 saves while U-32’s Linnea Darrow had a busier day, stopping 6 shots.
Another close match saw Spaulding defeat North Country 2-0, with Rylee Pelletier and Peyton LaPerle each netting a goal. St. Johnsbury narrowly triumphed over Harwood with a 2-1 score, highlighted by goals from Ayla Brown and Maggie Langlais.
