Cincinnati is buzzing with exciting high school sports action as teams continued to give it their all on the field and court this week.

In volleyball, Badin managed to secure a convincing victory over Edgewood with scores of 25-19, 25-12, and 25-18. Kings showed strong performance against West Clermont, winning that match 25-21, 25-16, and 25-22. The victory parade continued as Anderson swept Winton Woods with scores of 25-11, 25-8, and 25-6, while McNicholas dismissed Sycamore with an impressive scoreline of 25-9, 25-10, and 25-9.

In soccer action, Cincinnati Christian dominated Purcell Marian with a score of 6-0, with standout performances from players like Lewis who netted three goals. Reading also had a great night, shutting out Norwood 6-0, highlighted by multiple goals from Allen and Vance.

On the golf course, multiple teams competed in sectional tournaments; in the OHSAA Division III district qualifier, National Trail took the top spot with a team score of 315. Attention was also drawn to individual standout, Ethan Argus from Cincinnati Country Day, who topped the leaderboard with a score of 68.

The OHSAA Division I sectional tournament saw Springboro take the lead with a score of 307, while Aidem Standifer from Franklin produced an impressive score of 71 to lead individually.

This week’s results showcase the skills and determination of local athletes as they aim to finish strong in their respective sports. With playoff season on the horizon, all eyes will be on the games to come, promising more thrilling moments for fans and players alike.
