Neenah Dominates Fox Valley Association Cross Country Meet
Kaukauna – In a stunning display of team strength, the Neenah boys’ cross country team swept the top six places at the Fox Valley Association conference meet held at Countryside Golf Course, achieving a perfect score of 15. The second-place team, Kimberly, finished with 55 points, leaving them far behind. Leading the way for Neenah was Zach Verhagen, who crossed the finish line first with an impressive time of 16:10.1. Teammate Braedy Klawikowski followed closely behind, finishing in second place at 16:41.0.
The Neenah girls also showcased their talent by capturing the conference title with 26 points, placing three runners in the top five finishers. Kimberly again secured second place with a total of 78 points. Mazie Olkowski of Neenah was the star of the girls’ race, finishing first with a time of 18:29.8, just ahead of Eva Busch from Appleton North who clocked in at 18:30.0.
