High School Sports Update: Vermont Fall Season Kicks Off
The 2024 fall sports season is officially underway in Vermont, and teams are already making their mark on the field. Soccer, field hockey, volleyball, golf, and cross-country running are all in action, providing excitement for fans and athletes alike.
In soccer, notable games featured Merrimack edging out Vermont with a close score of 3-2. Rachel Bjorgan, Madison Cardaci, and Maria Lindberg each scored for Merrimack, with Margaux Favre making 12 saves. For Vermont, Evelyne Blais-Savoie and Alaina Tanski both netted a goal each while Ellie Simmons recorded a noteworthy 16 saves.
