Bridgeport – It was an exciting day for high school sports as various teams took the field, showcasing their skills and determination. The fall season is in full swing, and here are some highlights from the latest matches.
In a standout soccer game, Abbott Tech dominated O’Brien Tech with a resounding score of 4-0. Danny Granizo led the charge with two goals, while Jordan Saetama and Ricardo Redrovan each added one. Goalkeeper Jason Rivera recorded a clean sheet, not facing a single shot on goal, while O’Brien’s Evan Beland made an impressive 15 saves.
Amity also had a stellar performance, defeating Sheehan 4-0. Matteo Santin scored all four goals for Amity, supported by plays from Ethan Weatherly and Luke Long. Will Keenan was solid in goal for Amity, allowing just one shot on target.
