A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and fatally injured, subsequently dying as a result of the collision. The vehicle in question fled the tragic scene, prompting an immediate investigation.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that a metallic gray 1999-2004 Chevrolet Silverado was involved in the incident. The specific circumstances surrounding the accident, including the reason for the hit-and-run, remain unclear.
