SUAMICO – In an intense nonconference matchup, the Appleton North Lightning narrowly defeated the Bay Port Pirates with a final score of 77-72. The game was tight throughout, but the Lightning’s strong performance allowed them to build a four-point lead by halftime. Nathan Ramus was outstanding, putting up 22 points, while Will Sweeney added 18 points. Grant Hardy also contributed with 16 points and Matt Rosplochowski scored 11 points for Appleton North. For Bay Port, Sawyer Durkee led the way with 19 points, supported by Maddox Cornette with 14 points and Mondes Kelly who finished with 13 points.

In Marshfield, the Appleton East Patriots edged the Tigers with a close score of 39-37. Cade Prestigiacomo led Appleton East with 14 points, while Brooks Hinson put in a solid effort for Marshfield, scoring 17 points.

KEWAUNEE – The Tigers came out on top in an exciting overtime battle against Wrightstown, winning 65-64. The game saw several lead changes, with Ethan Cyra shining for Wrightstown, scoring a hefty 25 points. Kaden Colwell also contributed significantly, adding 22 points. For Kewaunee, Avery Jerabek led the balanced scoring with 16 points.

ALLOVER the state, several schools showcased great teamwork and individual performances. In Algoma, Parker Lischka netted 20 points in a commanding victory against Chilton, with the Wolves scoring 87 points overall. The game ended with a score of 87-28.

In a thrilling outing, Bonduel overwhelmed St. Mary Catholic by a score of 94-62, led by Quinn Wesenberg’s impressive 24 points. The Bears dominated defensively, allowing them to maintain control throughout the game.

Finally, in Fox Crossing, the Neenah girls’ basketball team triumphed over Appleton North with a solid score of 75-59. Rowan Klesmit was a standout performer, scoring 27 points and helping the Rockets secure the win.
