Scott Novak, a cherished sports editor with over four decades of service in the area, passed away on October 23. He was 63 years old.

Novak’s commitment to covering local sports left an undeniable mark. His dedication extended across multiple schools in Cass and Berrien counties, including Dowagiac, Edwardsburg, and Niles, where he passionately covered high school sports, Little League, and professional motocross events.
