In a thrilling game of adapted soccer, Rochester took a decisive victory over St. Paul Humboldt with a score of 8-5. Both teams showcased their skills, but Rochester’s offense proved too much to handle.
Meanwhile, the cross-country events have been generating excitement, especially in the boys’ section. At Highland National Golf Course, Stillwater finished impressively, securing a spot in the state meet with a total team score of 30. In soccer action, both boys and girls teams put on strong performances. In the boys’ Class 3A state tournament quarterfinals, Mpls. Washburn triumphed against Bemidji with a solid 3-0 win. On the girls’ side, Edina dominated Duluth East, closing the match with a convincing score of 5-0.
Your local volleyball teams also saw action this week, with Farmington fighting hard to win a tight match against Owatonna, ultimately triumphing in a dramatic five-set contest.
