Bel Air, MD – A busy day in high school sports led to some impressive performances in the playoff action on Wednesday, October 23.

The Harford Tech Cobras began their title defense in strong fashion, dominating Joppatowne with a score of 8-0. Brody Smith and Colby Golding contributed two goals each, while Brayden Chryst, Zach Lane, Reese Topfer, and Robert Brzezinski each added their names to the scoresheet. Lane and Brzezinski also provided two assists during the matchup.

The Patterson Mill Huskies did not hold back either as they trounced Frederick Douglass 12-0 in regional quarterfinals. Carson Harting and Chandler Williams each scored a pair of goals, supported by contributions from Phil Tolliver, Nate Kiefer, and others who all found the back of the net.

Bel Air kept the momentum going, achieving a decisive 7-0 victory against Digital Harbor with Mason Smedley shining as he recorded a hat trick. Blake Stallard also played a key role with a goal and two assists.

Meanwhile, Poly managed to take down Aberdeen with a solid 3-0 win, thanks to goals from Christian Raysor, James Stewart, and Lisander Ramirez. In another close match, Fallston edged out North Harford with a final score of 2-1. Two second-half goals from Levi Tanguay and Ariya Khairghadam led them to victory.

Broadneck had a standout performance, demolishing Suitland with a whopping 10-0 scoreline, featuring strong contributions from Raef Barradel and Jaydyn Lowe, who each scored twice.

In other matches, Annapolis defeated North Point 3-1, and St. Mary’s secured a 2-0 win over St. Vincent Pallotti. The action continues as teams look towards the next challenges ahead.
