Mountlake Terrace, WA – The Mountlake Terrace Hawks showcased their strength on the field this past Sunday, defeating the Everett Seagulls with a commanding score of 34-0. The Hawks demonstrated a powerful offensive performance, racking up a total of 514 yards, including an impressive 398 yards on the ground.
This victory secured the Hawks the No. 2 seed in the Wesco 3A South Division, qualifying them for the state playoffs that will kick off on November 8 or 9. The Hawks will close out their regular season against Edmonds-Woodway on Friday, October 25, before facing the No. 2 seed from the Wesco 3A North Division next week in the Wesco crossover matchups, where both teams will advance to the playoffs.
Quarterback Mason Wilson had a productive day, completing 6 of 8 passes for 118 yards and 1 touchdown. On the ground, Owen Boswell led the rushing attack with 142 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown, followed closely by Wilson himself, who added 107 yards rushing.
