# Public Invited to DAR Meeting at Laurens County Museum

## DAR Meeting to Feature Revolutionary War Exhibit Tour

The public is invited to attend an upcoming meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) at the Laurens County Museum. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 1, at 2:00 pm.

Sullivan-Dunklin DAR members will welcome attendees. The event will commence with a guided tour of the America 250th exhibit at the Museum, led by Dianne Culbertson and Sarah Jane Armstrong. This exhibit highlights American Revolutionary War sites located in present-day Laurens County. The Laurens County Museum also features an authentic display of Revolutionary War weapons.

Additional exhibits at the museum include Native American Artifacts, Ann P. Cunningham’s home place, and various local stories.
