The Newberry Academy varsity volleyball team secured a decisive 3-0 victory over the visiting Wardlaw Academy Patriots in a conference match held on Thursday, September 3, in Newberry. This win improves Newberry Academy’s season record to 3-4.

The Eagles dominated the sets with scores of 25-16, 28-26, and 25-16. Key individual performances for Newberry Academy included S. Hughes, who recorded 9 kills with a .214 hitting percentage, and A.
