Several key NFL players are dealing with injuries that could impact their availability for the upcoming season, including New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Both players are recovering from significant knee injuries, with their return timelines still being evaluated.

Malik Nabers is rehabilitating a torn ACL and meniscus in his right knee. While he is reportedly nearing a return to football activities, the Giants have not set a definitive Week 1 target for his return. His projected absence is currently estimated at zero to two weeks, with a moderate concern level of 6 out of 10.

Patrick Mahomes is also facing a moderate concern level of 6 out of 10 due to an ACL and LCL injury. His projected time missed is similar to Nabers, ranging from zero to two weeks.

Other players with high concern levels for missing significant time include Jayden Higgins, who is out for the season with an ACL tear, and Jordyn Tyson, who is expected to miss four or more weeks with a hamstring injury. Zach Charbonnet also has a severe concern level for an ACL injury, with his return timeline yet to be determined. Alvin Kamara is projected to miss four to six weeks with an MCL sprain, and Alec Pierce is out with an ankle injury, with his return also to be determined.

Tank Dell is dealing with both ACL and MCL injuries, with a projected absence of one to four-plus weeks. James Conner is expected to miss two to three weeks due to a foot or ankle injury, and Jeremiyah Love is projected to miss one to three weeks with a high ankle sprain.
